Frequently asked questions.
Can I use my GP mental health care plan?
Unfortunately at this point in time they do not cover my services. I hope this will change soon.
Can I use my NDIS funding to see you?
Yes, you can use your NDIS finding. I will invoice you after session and I ask that you then send to your provider as soon as possible.
How many sessions will I need?
It all depends on what you bring in to the session with me. I often see people just once and that is enough for what they need, but I also have had some clients for many years. Others come in and out to sessions whenever they feel they need to check in with me. On average it is about 3 sessions.
How long is a session?
A session is 60 minutes long.
Can I come to a session alone first, before I bring a partner?
This is up to you. If you are in a relationship and would like to have a solo first that is fine. If you bring partner/s first we may then have a solo after this but we can discuss this in session.
Do you offer Face to Face sessions?
Currently I am online only. Sessions are done via online platform zoom.
What is zoom?
When you book your session you will receive your confirmation email with all the details in it including a link to click on that will download Zoom (if you don’t have it already) Zoom is an online platform which allows us to have a live session online.
How do you use zoom?
You will have received a confirmation email when you book online. In this email is a link to zoom. On the day and time of your session you click on the link and it will bring you to the “waiting room” and I will let you in from my end. You will need to turn on your microphone and video camera. You can zoom from your phone, laptop or tablet. If something does go wrong don’t worry I will ring or text you and we can use Face Time or talk on the phone.
